I have been to over 20 lodges in Africa and Maroi is by far the best. A perfect blend of privacy, real safari feel in the tents but with the ability to cool even in the heat of the day. Just returned from my first safari and Maroi exceeded my expectations at every level! The hunting was phenomenal and my son and I experienced adrenaline rushes and a level of success that will be difficult to top. Perhaps more importantly were the people we met and friendships we made. The food and accommodations were top notch as well. Hannes was the consummate host and made us feel welcome from the word go. Lourens, Chris and Gerrit were extremely friendly, knowledgable and fun to be around.....I can't imagine having better PHs. I will definitely be back one day.
